About Behavioral Therapy
1:1 Behavioral Therapy is designed to support your child with developing the skills they need to flourish. My therapeutic techniques rely on neurodiversity affirming principles, self-esteem development, and supporting age-appropriate self-awareness and self-management. First and foremost, my behavioral therapy is focused on building a strong relationship. Without trust and rapport, therapeutic techniques are unsuccessful and will not generate long-lasting improvements to the quality of your child's life.
The Therapeutic Process
I begin with a comprehensive assessment with you and your child to understand their strengths, challenges and personality.
PERSONALIZED ASSESMENT
Every client has their own individualized goals. Treatment targets social skills, emotional regulation, executive functioning and more.
INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT PLAN
Therapy sessions are dynamic and play-based, ensuring your child is involved and motivated to learn.
ENGAGING SESSIONS
All behavioral therapy includes parent collaboration and support. We work together to ensure strategies are effective across the board.
COLLABORATIVE APPROACH
Individual treatment can address skill deficits in areas such as:
Emotional regulation
Coping mechanisms
Executive functioning
Working memory
Communication
Social skills
Self-management
Behavioral outbursts

Who Is It For?
-
Children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, ODD, anxiety, rare genetic disorders, multiple diagnosis or children who do not have a diagnosis.

-
Typically my clients struggle to stay calm, may have a hard time paying attention or executing daily tasks or their parents may report social issues.

-
Unlike many behavior analysts, I do not have minimum requirements and work with many of my clients one time per week. We will work collaboratively to determine the appropriate level for your child and family.
