When Knowing Isn’t Enough
A supportive, judgment-free space for parents raising neurodivergent children with ADHD
Now enrolling for Winter 2026
You’ve done the reading.
You’ve tried the strategies.
You understand your child’s diagnosis.
And still, the meltdowns happen.
Transitions are hard.
The same challenges show up again and again at home.
If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “Why isn’t this working when I’m trying so hard?”, you are not alone.
This series is for parents raising neurodivergent children with ADHD who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck despite their best intentions. It’s a space where you don’t need to have the answers, justify your parenting, or “fix” everything to belong.
Who This Is For
This program is for you if:
-
You love your child deeply but feel exhausted by daily struggles
-
You want to understand why behaviors are happening, not just stop them
-
You’re carrying guilt, self-doubt, or fear that you’re doing something wrong
-
You want practical support and emotional validation
-
You’re looking for strategies that actually fit your real life
About the Facilitator
I’m Nicole Stewart, a behaviorist and a mom to two neurodivergent children. I’ve spent nearly 20 years supporting children and families and I know firsthand how different parenting feels when it’s your own child.
There were moments in my home when the chaos made me question myself as a parent. Not because I didn’t care, but because caring so much can be exhausting when things feel hard day after day.
This series was created from both professional expertise and lived experience to support parents without shame, pressure, or unrealistic expectations.
What This Series Is About
Parenting a neurodivergent child is not about doing more.
It’s about understanding more, choosing differently, and letting go of what isn’t helping.
This support series will help you:
-
better understand your child’s unique brain
-
reduce guilt and parenting burnout
-
build confidence in your decisions
-
create a home that feels more calm, connected, and sustainable
Program Topics
-
Understanding Your Child: A neurodiversity-affirming deep dive into what’s under the behavior. We’ll explore ADHD, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and shame in a way that helps you understand your child’s strengths, challenges, and patterns at home, without pathologizing or blaming.
-
From Guilt to Grace: Parenting neurodivergent kids often comes with quiet guilt, constant comparison, and internal pressure. This topic focuses on reconnecting with your parenting values, rewriting your inner dialogue, and creating space for compassion, so you can show up with more steadiness even when things are hard.
-
Doing Less, Not More: Many parents feel like they are trying everything and still feeling unsuccessful. We will focus on simplifying by learning to let go of unnecessary battles, understanding challenges that will pass and reducing over-correction.
-
Creating Sustainable Homes: This final topic brings everything together. We’ll focus on building routines, responses, and expectations that are realistic, compassionate, and sustainable. You’ll learn how to support your child while also protecting your own energy and capacity.
