Now enrolling for Spring 2026
This series is for parents raising young children with ADHD or who they suspect may have ADHD. It's a space where you can be understood, supported and challenged with compassion.
As a mom to two neurodivergent kids and a BCBA with almost 20 years experience, this is a struggle I know all too well. There were days where the chaos in my house has led me to question not just my parenting ability, but also who I am as a professional. If I can't manage my own kids, who would want to hire me as a BCBA to help with their kids?
Parenting your own children is not the same as being a BCBA to a client. Being a good BCBA is not the same as being a good parent. But you can be, and if you are here with me now, you already are both.
This support series is here to help you gain confidence as a parent, better understand your neurodivergent child, and leverage your knowledge as a BCBA.
In this program you will get:

Five 60-minute live weekly sessions

Program Sequence
-
Understanding your Child: A neurodiversity-affirming deep dive into what's under the behavior; ADHD, executive functioning, emotional regulation and shame. We'll create a safe space to explore our strengths, areas for growth, home dynamics and what may be working, or not working for us as parents.
-
From Guilt to Grace: Should is my least favorite word -- let's let go of the idea that you should know better. Our goal here is to rewrite your internal dialogue and create space for grace. We want to get out of burn out and negative feelings so that we can embrace change, chaos and all that comes with parenting.
-
Who you are vs. who How your BCBA lens can both help and hurt at home. We'll talk about how to integrate ABA at home without feeling like you are at work, and what to do when parenting strategies feel unnatural in your own house.
-
Creating Sustainable Homes: The final section brings it all together with systems that work for your real life. How do you scaffold in strategies that work, are sustainable and build compassionate consistency for your children. Naturally occurring reinforcement is the cornerstone of sustainability, and we will focus on ideas to embrace your values and strengths in ways that are generative.
